Brand Exploration
Leadership
Speaking with company founders, leadership, and executives, we start by exploring an overview of your brand at 30,000-feet.
During this process, we learn the founder's story and the experiences representing highs and lows of the company.
We zoom in on the stories that emerge to discover greater details, gaining context and perspectives.
We put the insights gained from these discoveries under the microscope to recognize how they have informed critical decisions and company actions over time.
Employees
We conduct anonymous interviews and surveys to gain employee perspectives on the company and brand.
We uncover the stories motivating them to work for the company and how they see their role.
Clients
How does your brand represent your audience?
We conduct anonymous surveys and interviews to understand your clients' perspectives.
We invite clients to share their stories, so we really get to know who they are. We learn how to add more value to their lives in the process.
Competitors.
How do your competitors’ brands represent their audiences?
We identify your competitors and research their brand, positioning, strengths, and weaknesses. We get to know their story.
We learn more about the competitors’ relationship with their audience and how they communicate.
Getting to know your competitors helps us to ensure the uniqueness of your brand.
Story Analysis
Our Story Analysts review and interpret the information gathered.
We want to clearly understand the company's brand vision and how it aligns with the employees and clients.
We highlight the overlaps and underscore essential discoveries.
We conduct a creative workshop with leadership utilizing the information gathered to discuss as a group your brand story.
Brand Story Structuring
During this phase, a Story Architect working with a Storyteller take all we have learned and structure it into a book.
We state your Why, How, and What and include stories that show your brand in action—quotable quotes from clients, employees, leadership, and founders.
We write the founder's story, develop the brand voice, and spotlight ways to incorporate your brand story into your company culture.
We provide methods of communicating your brand story in all company actions and strategies.
We accent brand positioning opportunities, potential partnerships, and leveraging strategies.
We present the pillars of your brand that will attract employees and clients and play a role in developing future products and services.
Story Coaching
A Story Coach works with you for three months to communicate your brand, fine-tune the delivery, and help you with your storytelling abilities.
During the Brand Book Process™, we get to know your brand uniquely. We clearly understand your goals. You have taken us on the ride, and we have helped tell your story.
Together we ensure the insights learned are applied and that your actions align you with your brand story.
Story Content
Six months of Story Content.
We know your story and how to tell it.
We provide written content from long-form blogs and social posts to newsletters and email marketing. We create audiovisuals, including podcasts, videos, and imagery. We distill the information into illustrations and infographics from primary content when relevant.
The Product Journey
Editing
By the end of this phase, we will have the finished text.
We go through the three stages of editing; developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading the first version.
Design
This phase takes the text and turns it into beautifully designed, print-ready files.
We work on text formatting, typography, imagery layout, jacket design and provide a finished file ready for the second proofread.
Printing
Working with one of our print specialists, you will select your paper and print materials.
Your print-ready files are sent to the press to turn into hard copies.
You and the team receive sample copies for a third proofread.
With everything approved, we are ready to print your book, and a box of books will be arriving at your door.
